Who issues the Total Credit Card?

The Bank of Missouri is the main body that issues the Total Credit Card. It also reports to the three major credit bureaus in the US, namely Equifax, TransUnion, and Experian.

History of the Bank of Missouri:

Back in 1891, there was no bank in the entire Missouri. So, a group of neighbors decided to take matters into their own hands. And this is how the Bank of Missouri started off as the Bank of Perryville back in 1891.

From 1891 to 1902, it continued operating under the same name. This bank was the only bank in Perry County and catered to all the financial and business needs of Missouri.

They started small, and for more than 100 years, there was only one branch that was operating in Missouri.

Later, around 1997, as it expanded beyond Missouri, its name got changed and it became “The Bank of Missouri.” The bank also expanded all the way to Cape Girardeau and the four regions in the state. In 1998, the bank established a loan production facility, situated in Jackson, Missouri.

As of now, the Bank of Missouri has two branches in Perryville and Jackson, four operational bodies in Cape Girardeau, and has expanded all the way from Scott City, Patton, Marble Hill, Columbia, and Steele to Caruthersville.

By 2020, the bank has around thirty-seven branches all over Missouri, and around $2.045 billion in the form of assets.

The bank is famous for its financial products and electronic banking systems. It provides brokerage services, investments, and retirement plans too.

A few years ago, they started issuing credit cards also. Total Credt Card is one of its best and most famous credit cards that has been designed specially to cater to people with FICO scores of around 350-600.

The Bank of Missouri is a comparatively small issuer of credit cards. Therefore, it is not mentioned in the J.D. Power Credit Card Satisfaction Study.
